If you haven't already read my blog post, take a moment to read that post now (http://mydivaspot.com/forums/entry.php?23-Create-the-Life-of-Your-Dreams!).

To join the challenge, please reply to this thread and tell us about what you intend to manifest in your life. Hey, this is not the time to be secret agent about what you want. This thread will provide positive support toward you and your goals. Call those things that be not as though they are. Declare boldly what you intend to have. And, if you choose, share with us how you intend to meditate. Are you using a vision board? Are you journaling? Creating a Dreams Box? Mind movies? What are you doing to focus your thoughts and feel the joy? Plant your seeds, check in for regular encouragement and please let us know when something has manifested in your life.

This challenge will last until the end of the year. We'll take a look back and see how blessed we really are before setting goals for the New Year. Ok? Start posting to join and I'll add you to the challenge.

Guess I'm starting off. :cheer2:

I'm focusing on a new home, family travel, growing to hip length and building a successful nonprofit organization that raises funds for charities.

Not only have I made a vision board, which I framed and hung for my relaxing meditation time but, I've also made a slideshow for online and will also use a digital frame to keep my images on my nightstand.

Yes! I'm in.

Things I'm hoping to manifest:

A new car, a job that will give me the flexibility to work from home and more fun in my life.

I will be making a vision board and hanging it in my bedroom.

Wow! This is exciting! Thanks for starting this challenge.

By the end of the year, I'm hoping to reach a full bsl, lose 15 pounds and get a promotion at work. I also want to take a vacation with my sister. We're just starting to get back to being really close so, a nice vacation that we can both afford would be beautiful!

I'll join! Add me to the list please.

By the end of this year I hope to get a promotion with raise at work, pay off my car loan, lose 25 pounds and grow and maintain more inches of hair.

And I will make a vision board and journal daily.

I'm super excited about this challenge!!
I was just sitting and thinking last week that I need to work on my mindset...I find myself not being able to enjoy my happiness because Im always thinking about what if..worse case scenario so I believe that is challenge is my prayer being answered on how I can gain control of my mindset...
In the 6 months I want to focus on a lot of things first.....
I manifest a piece of mind! Manifest being secure in my body and my goal length of MBL by 12/31/2011
I also need to move and I have a dog so it's a challenge but I want a house not apartment in my price range with a yard
Also instead of me getting a second job in not being able to spend time with my daughter..I manifest 1 job with the salary I need to provide for my child.
I also manifest a better relationship with my daughter
I also manifest a stronger relationship with my husband to be (no he hasn't proposed yet lol) but he is the one.
I desire to be supportive nurturing and trusting..i want to be "nag free"
Last but not least I want that 300 all wheel drive sunroof navigation Leather seats 2009-2010 model...

So yes I have a lot I want to manifest but the words says ask and it shall be giving......
Yea I forgot one thing weight at the end of the year 170ish....so that's like 50 pounds...
Now I'm done lol
Now my question is this....do you read any daily scriptures books etc....? I want to be able to read something or repeat something daily when I begin to doubt or negative thoughts flood my mind

Doubt and negative thinking will spring up to challenge what you choose to call truth. This is pretty normal. I think it would be great if we can share quotes, scriptures, affirmations and techniques to disarm negative thinking.

But you know what? You don't have to go around defending what you believe or intend to manifest. During your time of meditation, simply choose not to entertain negative thoughts. Learn to refocus your thoughts when they're interrupted by negative thinking. You can't think both thoughts at the same time. When you recognize a negative thought sneaking in or your thoughts start to wander towards something negative, close your eyes and take a few deep, cleansing breaths. When you exhale, blow out any tension and as you breathe in, smile and remember that you are blessed and you can have anything you want. When you feel relaxed, you can open your eyes and focus completely on the positive picture and feelings you were focusing on before the negative thought. You can choose to disregard negative thinking instead of entertaining it. It becomes easier the more you do it.

"...I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life..." (Deuteronomy 30:19). In this case, that can be taken as I have set before you good thoughts and bad thoughts, choose good thoughts.

You don't have to defend your thoughts during meditation time. Just choose another thought. The desired one. This time is yours to create and enjoy the scenario that you choose.

Generally speaking tho, a negative mindset can be retrained to think more positively. Another way to start to see things in a better light is to remind yourself how bless you are. A gratitude journal helps with this. Post or journal things that you are grateful for in your life. Make it a regular habit. The more you look for the blessings in your life, the more you'll notice them.

HTH. And feel free to post anything that you find that helps to keep you motivated and positive.

I'm excited about the change of mindset that will surely be yours way before this challenge is over. Congrats!

Hi Njoy!!! I would like to join this challenge also! I know my mindset is not where it should be, I think that is why I feel at a stand still in things that I am trying to accomplish in my life.

Right now I am working on Manifesting a new car, and relocating to ATL by the end of October of this year!

So today I found myself going negative...lol so I pulled out a index card, and wrote out Philippians 4:8, changed my facebook status to it...Will be posting it through out the house, and when I find myself doubting my manifestation I will reflect on this scripture Exactly!!! Take charge of what you choose to focus on. But not only that, focus on the good stuff! Amen!!!

AND, NO GOOD THING will He withhold from you! (Psalm 84:11) Here's the scripture that keeps me grounded: Matthew 21:22 "And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive." Again, prayer is direct communication with God. And we can communicate with Him in words, thoughts, actions, images or songs. In meditating on good things, we are sharing the desires of our hearts, (Psalm 37:4) believing that we have already received them. And never forget to give thanks.

Fear of Doubt will try to rob you, convincing you that you don't deserve it. To that, say "grace"! And when fear or doubt says you can't, remember that it is not by your power or might, but by the spirit of the Lord (Zechariah 4:6). It's not us, but the grace of God that supplies our every need. He delights in the prosperity of His people (Psalm 35:27). Girl, don't get me preachin!

Hi, I'm joining this challenge. This year it seems like everything is pushing me towards changing the way I think. Books, forum posts, movies.....everything. So today I decided I really need to do it. And not in the lackluster way I've been going about it.

Things I'm Going to Manifest

Mid back length hair by dec 2011. I'm armpit length now. ( Changing this goal, because my hair always grows, length is never a problem. I want to concentrate on my hair's health. It's thick right now, but it's supposed to be thicker{stretched too long, and ended up with lots of tangles}. So my new goal is thick, healthy, luscious hair).

A 6 bedroom house with 2 offices and a swimming pool.
I will weigh 140 pounds by August 31st 2011
A trip to Israel and Greece with my husband in Sept 2011
A stronger relationship with God
Clear communication with my husband and a strong marriage
Joy
An extremely successful business
Healing

I will achieve it by doing night time audios and affirmations. I usually fall asleep when I'm meditating, so i'm going to try meditating in the bathtub.

*** Ladies, please share your tips or what you find is working to manifest your goals ***

I guess one of my tips is in image selection. There are many images that have universal interpretations but, be sure that the images you select translate for you personally. Choose one that, without a word, brings to mind your intended result. And if it excites you, even better!

This is a welcomed challenge to say the least. For as long I as I can remember, I have felt that if I just focused and pushed myself with positive energy, I would be rewarded with change that supported my vision of my best self.
From the top of my head to the soles of my feet, I want to be my best self.
My desires:
Long, healthy hair
A strong body
Graceful carriage
Glowing skin
Beautiful wardrobe
And last but not least, a life that pleases God!
I am confident that I will manifest these things. By living my best life, my family will be greatly benefited. I am worth it!

I will use the methods that brought me success before to bring me the man of my dreams, my three sons, living overseas, the house of my dreams and my dream car.

My methods: Act as if.... Give God back His word.....Gratitude......Planting really good seeds.....Faith....Continuously visiting the theatre of my mind..... Journaling

Yes!! I love it! And look forward to all that you have to share.

Today, I want to share how important gratitude is. First, every good and perfect thing comes from above and we should be thankful. There's always something for which we can express gratitude. And in doing so, it causes you to see the blessings in your life, to feel blessed and opens the door for more blessings.

Even those things that we want to change. For example, I want a bigger house. But, I'm so thankful for the house that I have; that the bills are paid; that my family is safe when we sleep at night; etc. I am blessed to have a home. But size and amount doesn't make a difference to God. He doesn't care about things. He only cares about us and wants to give us the desires of our hearts. I don't feel guilty for wanting a bigger house because whether I extend my faith for a small shack or a large mansion, doesn't matter. Either way, I'm asking. Feelings such as fear, guilt and doubt are only there to rob us and keep us from allowing the joy that God desires in our lives. So, feeling guilt for a larger house keeps me from it. Fear and doubt will continue to try to rob you. And if you give in to it for any period of time, don't condemn yourself. Just refocus and choose to believe. As a Christian, I condemn those thoughts and repent for receiving them. Knowing that they are not true. And then, get back to doing good, feeling good and thinking good thoughts.

I start off my meditation time with prayer and thoughts of gratitude. It reminds me how blessed I am so, it's not unusual that I would believe for more blessings from that mindset.

An attitude of gratitude is my tip for today. And as you think of things to be grateful for, you'll find more than you expected.

Task: Develop an attitude of gratitude and find at least 5 things for which you are grateful. If 5 comes easily, find 5 more. Write them down AND speak them out. I challenge you to do this daily for the rest of the month, each day offering NEW things for which you are grateful. Hopefully you'll find this to become a treasured habit that will change your life!

I'm starting a new thread because this is an powerful and life-changing exercise. So, if you are so inclined, please feel free to post your daily lists there (http://mydivaspot.com/forums/showthread.php?217-**-Post-Your-Daily-Gratitude-List**&p=480#post480). If you're grateful, don't keep it a secret. Shout out it out for all to hear...er, I mean, read. :cheer2:

I made a vision board after watching The Secret the first time but fell off until I started reading Njoy's posts on another board. I made a new vision board and I think it helped me to focus on manifesting my first home, which I just bought. I want to join this challenge to make more positive changes in my life. I have proof that this works.

Hola Divas! I'm so excited to receive so many positive messages about this thread. Some of you have shared experiences with me in my inbox. I think it would be a wonderful encouragement if you could post any stories that you have to share about things that are, have or will be manifested.

By sharing, it not only serves as an encouragement to others but reinforces your own faith. I know that for me, everytime something that I've requested in faith shows up, I'm absolutely AMAZED all over again. I love it and hope that we can all inspire MANY to create the lives of their dreams. It's absolutely within reach and many will be freed from doubt by our shared stories.

As a child, I was fascinated by those who seemed to enjoy life on a higher plane. I desperately wanted 'in' on their secret. How did they do it... what were they doing differently from the rest?

The answer to that question set me on a life long quest to find out how I could have the life that dreams were made of. My childhood was not story book....moving right along, but it provided me with enough frustration to know that once it was over, I woud not repeat it for a million dollars.

The first time I began to understand that I could manifest things was as a teen. I do not know how I stumbled upon the technique but I latched on to desires and refused to let go. My first manifestation brought me my first car.

Everyday, I would get up fully expecting it to be parked outside our house and would go to the window to see it but it was not there.......yet. Month after month, I did this daily, sometimes several times a day. One day it was there. My thoughts and expectations became material. Ding dong it was on then!

Later on in life, after I was an adult and had experienced a few blunders, I decided to dust off my technique and design the life of my
dreams. I had the audacity to tell others what kind of life I was designing. Well let me tell you, it still works and it is worth it to dream big! I was gifted with the man of my dreams....right down to his occupation, the cars of my dreams, the house of my dreams and even the countries I wanted to live in! We were married on the same street I was born on, on the the same day of the week and date of my birth, with the same people I told about my life's desires. There was not a dry eye in the wedding party.

Ladies, never give up dreaming. I will continue to dream big, from the top of my head to the soles of my feet, I will continue to manifest all that I desire! I encourage you to do the same.

I am beyond excited to be part of this challenge!!! I intend to manifest the following in my life:

1 - A deeper, more intimate relationship with God
2 - Provision/Faithful Stewardship with me & my hubby on one accord
3 - My dream home (I'll add details later)
4 - A healthy mindset
5 - A healthier lifestyle (eating habits/exercise, etc)
6 - A truck for my hubby
7 - APL hair by the end of December 2011

For now I'm using a binder for my vision. I was already using it in conjunction with my annual goals because I realized that I do better looking at my goals every day than creating them at the beginning of the year and not looking at them again until December! lol I followed Njoy's example and used a length shot and extended my hair to full APL using a sharpie. I also plan to meditate/visualize my goals twice per day but I want to make sure that this is not doing my regular time with God. I don't have much time to write but I will come back after I put the kids down for a nap.

Whew! I'm back. I wanted to include some steps I'm taking to achieve my goals. I'll just do my first goal for now because it would be alot to write. I might do a blog post on the rest later:

1 - To work on having a deeper, more intimate relationship with God, I am practicing His presence. I was inspired to do this after reading a book called Practicing the Presence of God by Brother Lawrence. He was a monastery cook (I think) in the 16th or 17th century and he had a very intimate relationship with God. He said that he would pray before, during, and after any task. He also said that he made the love of God the end of all His actions. That's what I'm trying to do. For example, before I wash dishes I might say "Lord, I'm about to do these dishes. Thank you for strength and for being here with me." Then as I'm doing the dishes I try to keep my mind on God and thank Him for indoor plumbing (lol), dishes to eat on, the food he blessed us with that dirtied up my dishes... lol Then, when I'm done, I thank Him that I got my task accomplished!

SN: What do you guys think about reading and discussing a book together? My mind/thoughts is my biggest area of struggle which is why I'm always working on that. I've read Joyce Meyer's book called Battlefield of the Mind which was INSTRUMENTAL in teaching me that I could change my thoughts. She has a new book out called Power Thoughts. Also, I've read The Power of Positive Thinking by Dr. Norman Vincent Peale. Any opinions/ideas???

Tink, this is a beautiful post! I love how you explained practicing His presence. I could go on and on about being in His presence, seeing his fingerprints, and watching His hand move in my life. But that's another post. :)

I love the idea about doing sort of a book club. I'm an avid reader and would love to join you. Feel free to start a thread and lead the group. Battlefield of the Mind is one of the most powerful books that I've ever read. It's so straightforward and clear and full of truth. But then again, that's Joyce Myer's style anyway.

I'll keep an eye out for your thread, if you choose to move forward. It really would be a blessing to many and very appropriate for this section.

You know, one of the main things that I hope to create at mydivaspot.com is a POSITIVE and uplifting tone. So many women boards have bickering, back-biting and jealousies. How wonderful to have a place to feel completely supported, encouraged and motivated to live the BEST lives that we CHOOSE to live. But, don't even get me started. I love your energy and the energy that continues to come to the site in the form of positive, likeminded women. This is one of the things that I've chosen to draw into my life and offer to the world and it is manifesting as we speak. Thank you ALL for being a part of that. :grouphug:

Back in October of last year I was laid off of my job. So finding new gainful employment is definitely at the top of my list. My list also includes a new home, vehicle and to finish my degree. A better understanding of my hair would be nice...lol. Outside of the material things, my dream is to have a closer family and though I am not religious, a closer relationship with GOD. I am a child of a Minister and when I was able to run, I ran fast. But as a grown woman I find myself noticing a void in my life and I am sure it's my lack of closeness to HIM. Thank you for creating this challenge!:amen::amen:

I don't have a vison board as such, however I have pictures of how I want my hair to be, pictures of my house, my cheque with the amount I want, picture of the amount I want in money. To make it even more powerful. I am using the Word of God to bring it into manifestation. All the things we want are in the spiritual realm, which is unseen, however we have to see ourselves, with our money, our houses, our long hair etc. We have to listen to sermons, talking about possessing all what God has for us. If you belong to a church, sow into it, do your tithes and offering and put on the back of the offering, what you want, so that your sowing is going to your future. If you see a $10 million or $50 million house you want. It doesn't matter that you do not have $10 million or $50 million. :cheer2: You shall have it. Mark 11:23-24. Sow into the building fund of your church, get a picture of your house, look at before you go to bed and imagine yourself in your house, that is the last thing on your mind and through a series of events, your house, your money will manifest in your life. :cheer2:

We've officially put in an offer for our dreamhouse. It's coming!! The interior has been professionally designed with custom window treatments that will stay and are BEAUTIFUL!! Everything is what I would have chosen. The woods, tiles, the granite countertop, the cabinetry, the built-in Bose System. EV-ERY-THING!!!! PERFECT!!! And we're asking to be in by the beginning of next month! I can't WAIT for the kids to find out. We're keeping it a secret until all the t's are crossed and the i's are dotted. But I'm SOOOOOOO excited!

Come on house! Come to mama! :cheer2::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

I've driven through this subdivision a zillion times, declaring that it was mine ever since I first found it. And whenever I wanted to take a relaxing drive, I'd drive through the neighborhood because it's so beautiful and makes me feel so good. This house is ours!! Thank You Lord!!

This is truly divine, to be in the company of others who choose to see their lives as the Bright, Bold, Beautiful, Brilliant Beings that they are.

How sweet it is, this is exactly what I wanted to manifest. God is Good All The Time, don't talk to me about nothing else!!! Lol.

I'm so happy to be here and looking forward to an incredible journey delivering the limitless possibilities of our imagination.

I seek to manifest, create, express the essence of the presence of power that is everywhere present. To PERCEIVE the highest and the best, EXPECT that which is Great, Grand and Glorious, and to EXPERIENCE a delicious, delightful, de-lovely Life.

I declare to be Awake, Aware, and Available to the Divine...

Always being,

NJoy you are so there! I am super excited about you manifesting your desires. This serves as an example to others who are also desiring the best that it is possible if you believe. By super stalking that house in your mind, you have made it materialize in the natural!

I strive remember not to waste one thought on negative when positive thoughts can bring me so much more!

Bright, Bold, Beautiful, Brilliant

'I declare to be Awake, Aware, and Available to the Divine...' your quote should be on a t-shirt! What an anthem that would make for all positive ladies who know to Whom they belong! I love Him so!

These are a few tips that I've recently started using. I don't know if this will work for you, but it gives me such a feeling of bliss.

1) I created a mp3 in my voice doing a verbal rant for what I want to manifest. If anyone's interested, I'll post some of the rant on the board.

2) If found a copy of R-Kelly's (sp?) "I Believe I Can Fly." I don't know how people feel about him personally, but I'm very focused on the lyrics of the song because they ring truth in every verse. Here's the link for those who are interested:

Hello Ladies!

I am new to this forum and if not for this thread I would probably never post anything (this is evident by my months of lurking over at LHCF:eyebrows:). However this site and in particular this forum is one of the most positive places I've seen on line. More importantly, I want in on this challenge! I've been on this journey of manifesting the life of my dreams since the begining of the year and it's definitely been an interesting journey. I am excited to encourage and receive encouragement from a group of people on a similiar mission. In fact finding this forum allows me to check one item off of my list which was to find like minded people who understand the amazing power we were all blessed with - the ability to live joyful and abundant lives!

Now for my list:

Loving, happy, and fulfilled relationships (with my husband, children, family and friends)
Daily prayer and meditation time
A successful business (generating multiple streams of revenue)
My dream home (I know everything about it, in my mind I already live there)
A new SUV (to help with my visualization I went and test drove it a few weeks ago)
To return to my prepregancy weight (my son is 4 now....I think it's time :becky:)
Midback length healthy hair

I am expecting to report the completion of every one of these goals by year end!!

Hi all! I'm new and this is something that I need to do!!!

What will manifest in my life this year:

1. Becoming a woman after God's own heart, with a life that testifies to that in every area.
2. A relationship with my children that gets stronger each and every day
3. I've been seperated for a few years now and it's time to close that chapter, leaving the past behind
4. Full, lush, healthy beyond APL head of hair
5. My first home........5 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, hardwood floors throughout, spacious kitchen w/ center island and granite countertops, finished basement, at least a 2 acre lot, privacy from neighbors, fenced in surrounded by trees that pose no danger to the foundation. A large master suite with room for a sitting area, a deck and a large porch.
6. At least a 30lb weight loss by years end
7. Beautiful healthy skin
8. Never had a perfect smile, but I shall!
9. A promotion on my job with a $10,000 pay increase
10. I know that God called me to write, I will finish a project by years end!

Thanks so much for this thread, NJoy!

Thanks so much NJoy for being a blessing and I am joining this challenge. I have created a vision board and it is placed in my bathroom to meditate daily, I have pictures on my desk at work, pictures in my phone to carry with me, confessing the word for what I am standing in faith for, and practicing walking in love, and living a life to honor and please God:

1. A more intimate, personal closer relationship with GOD.
2. Several countries and states I would like my husband, son and I to visit.
3. Financial freedom and total debt freedom to be a blessing to others and to be a channel for financing the gospel of Jesus Christ and the ability to meet others needs.
4. A new car for my hubby.
5. A new SUV for me.
6. MBL thick healthy hair.
7. A strong, toned,healthy body.
8. Great committed Christian friends for my hubby and I.
9. A beautiful new wardrobe.

The scriptures I am standing on are:
1. God is able to do exceedingly, abundantly, above all I could ask or think.
2. Delight myself in the Lord and He will give me the desires of my heart.
3. Give and it shall be given unto me, good measure, pressed down and shaken over shall men give unto my bosom.
4. Owe no man anything, except to love him. I am the lender and not the borrower, the head and not the tail, and above and not beneath.:amen:

:cheer2:

Valeriesmith15 I love that passage! It completely changed my life from one of being a doubter to trusting that I could have and be and do whatever the word said.

Today was one of those days where it seemed like everything in my life is the exact opposite of how I desire it to be :frusty: I would also love to hear from those of you who are having success. How do you get through the days when it feels like nothing is happening?

It's my experience that things may seem to fall apart before coming together. And because I journal and keep moving forward, refusing to believe what I'm seeing with my natural eyes. I sort of see it as a curtain of illusion. Either I can be fooled, feel fear or doubt and retreat from it OR I can choose to press through, continuing to believe and receive what I've asked for. It's a curtain of illusion! Walk thru it STILL excited about what you ARE receiving.

I know. There may be drama, negative people, closed doors and other things that CLEALY spell disaster but, I go back to the Word. The change you seek was requested and manifested in the spirit before you see it in the natural. Spiritual things seem as foolishness to the world (or our own worldly understanding). Lean NOT to your own understanding. That's work. Pressing in and pressing on is work. But the work that's mentioned in "faith without work is dead". That sustains me.

And back to my journaling. When things get difficult, I journal what's happening, release all fear and doubts in prayer and then write whatever scriptures comes to mind to supports holding on to my faith. It's a step by step walk, especially when things look dark but, find ways to encourage yourself (I use the Word, speaking affirmations, music and just redirecting my thoughts) and continue to believe. You don't have to wrestle with your mind and common sense to convince yourself that it's an illusion (although, you'll come to know this for yourself). Just find time to set your concerns aside and spend time meditating on the good stuff and your goals. That doesn't have to be 24/7. That lie will keep you in fear and doubt and you'll start to feel undeserving. We're blessed with grace. Keep believing. And keep talking to people who also speak faith.

After pressing through, my journal will serve as personal motivation and encouragement for the next time I feel discouraged. No one's experiences have the weight of your own personal triumphs.

My own experiences have taught me to smile when I see things going awry. Why, because I know it's just a distraction or time to press on. And the bigger the obstacle, the closer I am to what I want. Hey, that's just what I've come to know as my experience.

When you're crossing a casm and there's no bridge in sight, trust and the bridge will appear, step by step. Main thing is to keep on steppin. It'll be there. I'm a witness!

NJoy

Oh, and the feeling of standing still or no momentum is easy to deal with. Remind yourself that many things are being orchestrated to bring you your desire. Some things simply take time. But still see it coming forth and spend time enjoying the fruit of it. And then, expect it. Easy peasy.

Here's something. Ever since seeing one of HairCrush's YT videos I've decided that I'd like my hair to be long and thick like hers. But, transitioning to natural has been tricky since detangling had been difficult. I've whined about it here and there and finally decided to stop whining and start believing that I can have whatever I want. Since then, I'm getting used to dealing with detangling and keeping my hair moisturized. See, breakage at the point of demarcation was a threat to me. I no longer worry about that and am expecting long, healthy, thick hair. I wore twists for the past week and took them down yesterday. The thickness and length validated to me that my hair will be what I want. I saw it clearly.

My heart's desire to be able to be a Philanthropist and make a difference in lives is coming forward full steam ahead and I'm SO excited! I was looking through photos online and certain pictures would jump out at me and I'd have the feeling that I helped that person somehow. I'm really excited about that and am motivated to start "scripting", which is a technique of writing out things the way that you would have them to go. I want to script myself helping and giving and then associating it with a picture of a grateful or healthy person. I mean, my spirit is leaping at the thought of that now. So I know THAT goal is manifesting now. Today is part of the process. Part of the story of how I got started. I'm birthing that vision as we speak...and I'm SO thankful!

The house that I'm manifesting is right in front of me. We put in an offer and received a positive response but, the seller is out of town and will be back later. I'm receiving that extra time as the time needed to consider anything else we'd like in the deal and for the person's position to align with our desires. There's beautiful pieces of furniture in the home. I dare to believe that every piece that I want will stay with the house. I can't wait to show pics. Oh, and I want a baby grand piano because it's something that I've always dreamed of, if I had a home big enough for it. I've never mentioned that to anyone but, my daughter is asking for piano lessons because her best friend is taking lessons. Um....yes!

Those are just some things that I notice moving forward.

And may I add that I'm not worried about making money. I want to give for a living. In doing this, I'm absolutely certain that I will be provided for. No bout a doubt it. Isn't that awesome? To literally live in my passion as if money were not a factor. Wowowowowowowoowow!!!!!

NJoy thank you for sharing the well thought out and well put together wisdom you have! Everything you said is exactly right. I journal as well and in fact I have two separate journals one in which I can write out my day to day experiences and the other is a "pray rain (http://www.prayrainjournal.com/)" journal which is the same as what you referred to as scripting in the previous post.

See I know the things I need to do in order to manifest my desires, I just have to remember not to get caught up in the "illusions of reality" also known as my current cirmcumstances. In my spirit I know all that I desire is already done, and that all things are working together for my good but sometimes in my flesh it all just looks.......well impossible. One of the biggest hurdles I have to overcome is the poverty mentality. Trying to convince my mind that I can live a wealthy and abundant life when all I have known since childhood is debt and lack is sometimes very challenging. It's kind of like the hair growth journey; if you have never had long hair ever in your life it may take some time and a little success to truly convince yourself: Yes I really can have long healthy hair!

I am so grateful to have found this board and this challenge because I know you all will encourage me with both your experiences and your advice. Thank you!!

Thank you so much for posting this NJOY, you are right on time, I too have been (watching my word as I type) tested beyond reasoning since the beginning of this year,,.. I know that it is the trying of my faith, do I really believe what I confess to myself and others,, and do I really believe God meant what He said in His word. HE is NOT a man and HE does not lie... is what I keep stating.. and continue to confess that HE shall supply ALL my NEED-whatever they are and my DESIRES according to the faith that worketh in me. Thanks for encouraging.. this is a great opportunity for GOD to show himself strong and mighty and to be a witness to others in my family, on my job and friends the faithfulness of GOD.

Girl, that's a stronghold. Most are erecting within us while we are young and defenseless. But, the Word tears down strongholds. Keep confessing the word and acknowledging that the WORD is TRUTH. Anything contrary to it is a lie. Speak the Word of truth. You are not who you used to be. That familiar spirit, spirit of poverty and lack have you in bondage but only hold the power that you allow.

Now, another thing to focus on is FEELING abundant. A good technique for this is to surround yourself with things that are valuable to you. Let it be the first thing you see when you wake up or fall asleep. Symbols of wealth an prosperity. A picture of yourself on vacation. Some jewelry that you may have. Money bookmarks. A picture of you in a fancy car (you can go to a dealership and get someone to take a pic) or wearing a fabulous outfit (mall, honey.)

And the grandmama of all, get your hands on a one hundred dollar bill and put it in your wallet with a few ones behind it. Don't spend it. Just notice it whenever you go into your wallet. Know that you HAVE money. Smaller bills can be used but, there's something about seeing a C note in your wallet that makes you stand a little taller. And from time to time, when you see something that you might want to buy, experience the feeling of knowing that you can buy it if you wanted. It will start to change how you feel. Going into an empty wallet or scraping up the last of your change reinforces a broke feeling. Feel like you have money. Look like you have money. Act like you have money. It will show up.

I used to pride myself in not keeping money in my wallet because I didn't want to attract a thief. Twenty dollars in small bills was enough to carry along with my debit card, which I used for anything over twenty bucks. I'd spend some of the bills for small purchases and before I knew it, I was feeling like I didn't have enough money. I could use my card but, that doesn't really feel like spending money to me, since I don't see money moving. I'd have to dig in hubby's pockets or was always saying I had to get some money. It hit me that I wasn't doing myself any favors doing this. So, I read of the hundred dollar bill technique and have been keeping one in my purse ever since. I don't spend it...but I could...because I HAVE money. Get it! I never feel short. And taking opportunities to notice things that you CAN buy...if you wanted... will make you feel like money is always available.

So, it's a two-pronged attack. Deal with reprogramming your mind with the Word of Truth and the confessions of your mouth AND make it an actual reality in your mind by seeing money in your wallet every time you open it. Try it.

God is faithful! Not because we deserve it. Grace covers that. But, He's ALWAYS faithful to His promises. And the promises of God are ALWAYS "yes" and "amen". My faith is fueled not by worthiness or degree of faith but by my faith in HIS willingness and ability to deliver on His promises. Period.

If what I ask is in His will for me (His will is that we would prosper in all things, be in health, even as our soul prospers. His will is completely revealed in His Word and will be verified by His spirit...in case we wonder) He hears me. And if He hears me, then I SHALL have the petitions of my heart. So says the Word. I believe it and I literally receive it.... And I'm thankful!

Greetings All~

This post is such a blessing to me. NJoy thank you for being the vehicle through which God has answered my prayer request for a group of like minded women who are not afraid to stand for what they truly are | Heaven On Earth.

Now, you may not know this but I have been seeking this forum for a while. Well not particularly this forum, but a group of women of like mind and heart. And I had to be patient and trust that it would be answered and when it was, I was/am so over joyed. For now we have our own place in which to shower the universe with our most previous cargo - the seedlings planted in the soil of our souls to manifest the creation of our wildest dreams come true. When you plant a seed, you don't go digging it up every few days to see if it's still there or growing - no, you care for it by watering it, nurturing it and weeding the garden of your soil/soul to enhance the seedlings planted therein.

We were given at birth the right to ask and to receive. We were given the ability to seek, so that we may find - as I did this forum. We were given the ability to knock, so that the door will be opened. But even all of this is only available to those who act as if IT's already DONE, those who are Awake, Aware, and Available. And so it is...for before you can even ask, it is given unto you. Which means you only have to align "yourself" with what is already your's. I'm not saying it's easy, I'm saying it's doable. It is and always will be your choice (at every nanosecond of the day). Free will, remember! It's your's, choose wisely, tend the garden of your soil/soul and prepare for the bountiful harvest. In other words, prepare to receive...as your cup runneth over with the great, grand and truly glorious.

This forum is evidence enough for me, as I have been seeking each and everyone of YOU for a while. And now I'm home and am so thankful, grateful, and joyfilled at my arrival and your's. I celebrate you, I thank God for you for you have been Chosen to DELIVER to humanity with your Talents, Gifts and Abilities to the World In service of the most High.

Welcome home, get ready to receive the overflow. Njoy the ride!!!!

Be well, Be magnificent (as you already are).

Oh I feel so much better after reading this post. I can relate to the proverty mentality. I am the one who will confess the word speak abundance walk the walk and talk the talk, its the mentallity that I know is keeping me bound sometimes feeling insignigicant of having more than enough when you have been programmed to feel as if there is never enough. Yes I am getting my cnote in place to break this strong hold and I am standing on the word that no good thing shall be withheld from the rightous!!! Thank You!!! for this word it was truly a blessing to me!!!:amen:

I know I'm kind of late but I want to join. Recently my sense of what I want has been very clear. First and foremost I want to go back to grad school. Then I would like to get a job working in my field of choice. After I'm done with school and found a job that I feel I could grow in, I would like to start preparing to be either a foster parent or to adopt. Those are my more long term dreams. Short term, I want to continue improving my piano skills, working on my garden and getting back into sewing, particularly sewing my own clothes.

Awesome goals, Dee. I wish I could garden but, I'm not very outdoorsy. So, I'm thinking of doing some container gardening and growing fresh herbs. I wonder if I did something like rosemary, basil and sage, would I have to worry about insects? I'd love to do tomatoes and onions too but, gotta crawl before I walk.

NJoy, if you do get insects you can just put some sulfur on them. Sulfur is the organic method used to kill insects because it's safe for humans and pets!

Okay, I am so excited. I was just given an opportunity to obtain some tools for my business I've been wanting for about 3 weeks. I was asked not to tell anyone about the who, the what, the when, and the where. But I'm so over joyed I had to tell you that I am receiving my dreams. The tools will assist me in obtaining more and better clientele. I've been given the tools for free until the end of August and offered an additional week, if necessary. OMG!!!

I have to be patient for a week because I'll be driving cross country to get my daughter to a highly sought after MBA Program she was accepted into. We're celebrating our last time together for a while this weekend, so my youngest came down to visit from N.Cal. from her internship w/Clorox before she returns to Columbia University in NY. I'm sooooo blessed because GOD is good all the time, whether we recognize it or not. I'm doing my best to be cognizant of it constantly...No Matter Who, What, When, Where or How!

I wish you all the very best that life has to offer, to the degree you are willing/able to accept it.

Good Afternoon Ladies,
When challenges come up which they always do when we are on a specific journey, it always helps me to hear others experiences and encouragement, therefore I would like to share... Today is one of those day's actually it's been one of those week's that have extended into the next... where everything possible has come up to knock me off course.... I seek answers, I stand on my faith, and I patiently wait.... my answer and inspiration to stay focused...."Release all DOUBT, Release all FEAR, Release all NEGATIVITY, and surrender your soul, allow him to enter in.... He is God and he is in us... so know that with him we have the POWER, the STRENGTH, the KNOWLEDGE, the DIRECTION, and the Authority to create and manifest the desires of our hearts... All we need to do is seek him daily his direction is in the word, feast on it, digest it, and live by it, be obedient and share his character with all around you, let his light shine through you so that you may fulfill the purpose that he has for you! Be Bold, do everything with love, and ALL good things shall be added in your life... and all will call you BLESSED!!!

Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for YOU, declares the LORD." Dear Woman of God, Be still for a while and praise God for His favor, His grace and His awesomeness. God is able to do the impossible and is always near. He loves us unconditionally

Dear God, These are my friends whom I love and this is my prayer for them. Help them live their lives to the fullest. Please promote them and cause them to excel above their expectations. Help them to shine in the darkest places where it is impossible to love. Protect them at all times, lift them up when they need You the most, and let them know when they walk with You, they will always be safe. Amen!

Wow! I can't begin go into details of the blessings that are unfolding in my life right now (although I will later). I'm just going to say money, a new car, trips, romance, clothes and fitness are all flying straight into my life. And on top of that, my dream of being able to do good works and give for a living instead of focusing on financial provisions is really taking off.

I really feel that doing good for others is really causing other blessings to just flood into my life. I give because I genuinely want to give and non-related blessings seem to be coming from every direction. Yes, I'm intending these things. Yes, I've prayed and asked for them. Yes, I expect them. Yes, I prepare myself to receive and act as though it's already done. But, when they show up, it only validates for me that you can't outgive God. And I'm in absolute awe each and every time!

The desire of my heart is to be a blessing. And I am blessed to be a blessing. Thank You Lord!

What I am going to do is focus on journaling and meditation. I am going to have to really dig through this thread and re read because I need some tips. More so for my procrastination i guess. :thudpile: I don't know what is wrong, I really can't seem to focus or get myself to 'that place' for long enough to focus daily! Any tips are appreciated.

The one thing I halfway focus on is the relationship part, however I can't seem to focus on anyone without a face if that makes sense?! So i have a crush, someone I don't know but I put him in visions to excite my feelings. I know that is not cool because I should not focus on any one person.

Add me, add me please....

Ok for the 2011 year I want to focus on:

1) God is my center of everything and not stressing so much and letting go and GOD.
2) Staying postive so that I can be open to all that is going to come to me.
3) Having a very successful semester in school and continue to raise my GPA to the sky.
4) Volunteering more and focus more on community service.
5) Join a couple more nursing organizations and a NPHC Sorority :yahoo:
6) Lose about 25- 30 more lbs and being toned and tight
7) Meeting a very nice guy and working on something SPECIAL :smooches:
8) Having flawless beautiful skin WITHOUT makeup.
9) Paying off a few small CC's.
10) Cant forget about my hair....having full BSL thick hair.

I need to get on my mediation and journaling again so. I will start tomorrow and just focus on something differently when I write so I can fully explain my desire and the details for it.

Hello Ladies!

I just wanted to check in to see how everyone is doing. Has anyone manifested any goodies yet? I haven't crossed anything off of my list just yet but for the first time in a long time I feel like I am clearly hearing God and as a result I am moving in the right direction. In other words I can see the light at the end of the tunnel! What's even better is that instead of focusing on what I don't have I am increasingly grateful for all that I do have. Not only do I feel better but I am enjoying the journey as well.

I cannot say it enough: Thank you NJoy for My Diva Spot. I am encouraged and inspired everytime I visit.

Awesome post, Summertime. I'm glad you asked about how everyone's coming along with manifestations. I've mentioned previously that I'm manifesting a new home. To recap, the home that we're currently pursuing is in THE subdivision that I LOVE and drive thru regularly whenever I just want to take a drive. I drive thru it as if I already live there and it really lifts my spirit. The house is the floorplan that I love, with all the upgrades that I would have chosen, professionally decorated in colors that I would have chosen, with a playground/clubhouse in the backyard for my high-energy son and a fully finished lower level with everything that I could've possibly wanted, including a full kitchen and home gym. With the market being as it is, it's well below the original price even before the lower level was completed so, we're already saving six figures. All negotiations seem to be a go and we expect to complete the sale as soon as possible. The other thing along with that is, we won't have to wait to sell our current home because it looks like we may be able to lease it out by the time we close.

I'm already visualizing the parties that we'll host and the holidays in our new home (another thing on my board). :reddancer:

Girl, being grateful for what you already have is important. But see the windows of heaven opening up and blessing showering down on you as a regular response to your gratitude. Stretch your faith for greater joy and more reasons to be grateful! God is the author and perfector of our faith. He wants our faith to GROW and that means we have to stretch and exercise it. This is a GOOD thing! Feel like a child of the KING and EXPECT your life to be overflowing with joy. Whatever you ask, BELIEVING, you shall receive. Woo! \o/ And for THAT, I'm thankful!!!

*** Manifesting Tip!!!

When you're visualizing, don't just focus on what it is you want. Ask yourself what this would mean to you and, more importantly, how having it would make you feel. And then flow in that feeling as you visualize yourself having it!

Ex. This house that I want. It's one thing to visualize the house and see myself living in it. But to supercharge the manifestation, I have to feel the emotions, the sheer joy, of actually living in the house. I hear the music playing on the Bose system throughout the house. I'm swaying and singing along as I see myself doing the same while cooking dinner in my beautiful gourmet kitchen. I'm grinning from ear to ear as I see my children playing together in the game room. Their laughter makes me burst into laughter while visualizing. You have to stir up the emotions to fuel your time visualizing. Here's your chance to project into the spirit realm what you intend for the natural. Not only should you see it before you have it, but you should njoy it and be grateful!!!!

Just my two cents. If you're not visualizing like this, I challenge you to try it. Don't just see yourself winning the competition. Feel the sheer exhilaration of having done so and allow gratitude to burst forth as a natural response to your joy.

Be blessed!

I'm am over the moon this morning over a wise idea that continues to pop up into my awareness. Actually there was a business that I planned to start a while back. The location was forced and the market wasn't ideal but, I owned some property that I wanted to develop. I put a lot of time and effort into it and then when the economy fell apart, I decided it was a good thing that I didn't go thru with it. I moved on without regret and hadn't looked back.

Today, I think the timing is right. I found an ideal location with built-in clientele. I'll need to revise the data in my original business plan to make sure that it makes good business sense but, the way my spirit is reacting within me tells me that I need to look up and move on it in faith.

Suddenly, all of the excitement and planning that I had for the original location seems to make sense. If all checks out, I'm hoping to be open for business the beginning of 2012. I'll post more details as they sure up. Wow! Trying to contain my excitement but... :yahoo:

Please add me to the challenge.

Hello ladies
I'm working on this dreams challenge and it is a challenge for me to keep those consistent thoughts in my consciousness but I'm getting better at it.

I am learning to give up on the reasons something can't happen and put my faith in the One who CAN make it happen.

So my vision is to get a teaching position at a Uni in the Middle East. It has been in the back of mind off and on for YEARS and I had given up on the idea, but it just kept nagging at me, so I've made it apart of my meditation. Then some other thing came and distracted me and I thought maybe I should pursue that, but before I did, I prayed on it.

Two days later I was having a conversation with DH and out of the blue he said "you don't want to take on that responsibility" (getting a job may mean that DH would not be able to find work, hence I would carry the weight). Then he said "I understand." He did say anything else and when I said am I being chicken - he said no.

I went back and knew that other thought was just a distraction from my real desire - that I was allowing fear and lack of self-confidence get in my way. So I went back to prayer, and asked specifically about whether teaching ESL in the ME would be good myself and my family and our welfare.

The next day I felt renewed, I revamped my entire resume, sent it out and that afternoon a recruiter contacted me with a full package for me. We had an interview that afternoon via Skype and they sent the contract the next day.

You ladies are teaching me a lot about keeping my vision in the front of my mind.

Hello Divas! Tonight I challenge you to not just expect the BIG things but, also look for the little things to manifest.

Build your faith by spending time focusing on small things that are more easily beliveable for you to manifest and expect them. Expect to find money or have coins show up randomly. Or, expect small amounts of money. In other words, start small to help build your faith. Sometimes, if you're expecting something big like a new car, paid in full, your conscious mind will wrestle with your intention. And if you are unable to hold on to your faith or keep your focus, you may start doubting and give up before you've manifested what it is you wanted to start with.

If you're not used to having good things show up in your life or are full of negative programming in your thinking, you may have to excercise your faith to build it up. But remember, it doesn't take monumental faith. It only takes the faith of a mustard seed, which is tiny in itself but contains incredible growth potential.

See someone complimenting you or inviting you to an event. Whatever it is, write it down. We often send out our desires but think nothing of it when it comes to because we feel what was manifested was something small or average. We don't even realize that we've drawn that thing into our lives.

Let's go through this week with expectancy and be sure to come back and share what has shown up in your life this week. Large or small, it's all encouraging and a wonderful blessing to all that you share it with as well as yourself.

I'm expecting helpful people to come into my life. I'm expecting to hear a "yes" to something that I've been wanting. I'm expecting an opportunity for travel to present itself. Who knows if these things will manifest this week. But, it is my intention to expect these things to come forth this week.

Meantime, I continue to focus on the things that I have on my vision board. Oh, btw, I've updated my VB with a new hair length photo and $$$ needed for new furnishing for the house that I'm expecting.

Have a great week, ladies. I pray that everyone is doing well and made it safely through hurrican Irene.

As I begin another blessed day, I am gearing up for an opportunity to learn new things. I have been granted a fellowship to become an Accredited Financial Counselor. My program begins this week and I am excited about it. In the past, something like this would have been frightening to me. But thankfully I have overcome the emotionally crippling self doubt and low self esteem that plagued me for many years. By reprograming my thought life and through much prayer, I have been set free from that.

Sometimes I may have a twinge of doubt set in when new challenges come my way but I think back on past successes and pop my collar and keep it moving! I send doubt packing and give my faith a first class seat in the theatre of my mind. I feed my faith good words and feelings and trust that my Higher Power is at work and has my back.

It feels good to be comfortable in my skin and every day, I am expecting good things to come my way. Just the other day, I picked up a Vogue magazine and saw a hounds tooth suit on this lady and thought to myself, I would love to have that suit. Well, DH dropped me off at our local Goodwill to browse while he ran errands and as plain as day, I walked up to a hounds tooth suit in my size in perfect condition! I saw it first in my mind and before my thoughts got cold, it was mine. Now the kicker is, I had just looked at that magazine about 15 minutes earlier in another store.

Ding dong, it's on now ladies! :yay:

I'm having to relax and hold on to my vision to obtain the house that we're pursuing. The Sellers are being difficult with price negotiations. The market makes it difficult for us to giver the Seller the price he wants. Doing so will cause financing problems. I'm staying out of it and releasing the outcome to flow in our best interest.

This may be that final test of faith. It may be that we need to continue looking. Either way, I'm detatching and trusting God to cause all things to work together for our good.

Meantime, money that I needed for a purchase showed up right on time. That's pretty typical but I don't want to take it for granted. Giving thanks.

Also, a friend is offering to sell her new furniture to us at a discount because she has to suddenly move out of state. We need new furniture for our house.

Still waiting on something to go our way (would be perfect if it were the negotiations) and helpful people to show up.

Having a great night and expecting more.

I had a pretty vivid dream that I think is connected to the way that I'm manifesting and sharing information.

I've been trying to respect the way everyone "believes" and being careful not to offend. But, I feel led to clarify what I believe. I believe that every good and perfect thing comes from above. I believe that there are Universal Laws and, God, being the Creator of the Universe, created them to provide for us. I believe that His Divine power has provided everything we need for life and godliness thru our knowledge of Him. I don't want to mislead anyone to think that my faith in God is not at the center of having all that I desire. HE gives me the desires of my heart and is delighted by my joy.

Further, I give and it is given to me. I bless and am blessed. I reap what I sow, so I try to sow good seeds. And, I give God the glory for all. :clap2:

That said, I've also been feeling like my vision is not large enough. I have things that I want, true. But, it all feels so small, suddenly. So, I intend to spend time in prayer asking God to enlarge my vision. I'm ready for a greater vision. I'm ready for more. I don't know what the means right now, exactly. But I feel like I'm on the brink of conception of something great.

Well, I have a job interview tomorrow at 4:30pm. I know I should be happy, but I'm grateful. It is just that
despite it being a clinical position it does not have benefits, which means I would have to work both my current
job(for the benefits) and this job(for the money). However, this job is far away from where I live and work
currently. In addition, my check engine light is on and I need new tires ASAP before the winter. I really need a new car altogether. I was also upset because I got an interview invite by email to a hospital, but it was on a first come, first serve basis. By the time I tried to register for an interview everything was full.

I'm praying that God's will be done. I know His plan is far greater than me, so I am going to walk by faith and
not by sight.

Good morning, Divas. Gotta say I've been sort of sidetracked but, I guess it was more a change in priorities. Much of my attention lately has been with my dad, who is struggling in his health and pretty recently widowed. I posted a prayer request detailing his situation but, suffice it to say that it has been extremely stressful.

I've been spending time in prayer and trying to focus on seeing my dad happy and in good health. I know this is God's will so, I'm very hopeful. But still, most of his ailments have been going on for many years and have seemed to get worse.

I'm excited to say that a conversation with him yesterday was very exciting. He had some good reports of feeling better and I've taken him to new doctors that are positive and motivated to help him. So today, I feel like I can finally turn my attention back to what's going on in my life and with my family.

I'm happy to find that, even tho I've been a bit off track, I'm meeting my fitness goals and have created new goals that I'm certain that I'll reach. I'm using technology to keep myself more organized and challenges and support groups to keep me moving forward to reach my goals.

I don't know what to think about the house situation. The Seller can't afford to sell at or near current market rate. Hubby is willing to pay his asking price (even tho the bank will only lend on the appraised value) and moving forward would make me feel like we overpaid when there are so many "sales" going on. It's a buyers market and I really want to be able to take advantage of the lower market prices. Needless to say, I'm torn. I think hubby is willing to pay because I'm so excited about the house and he's trying to make me happy. But, in today's market, and with some looking, we should be able to get a comparable house for HALF the asking price. What to do? What to do? Since I don't know, I'm just gonna let things unfold in our best interest and keep looking in the meantime. We'll see what happens. I want to feel 100% at peace with whatever we decide.

Also, I may have mentioned that several business & investment opportunities are presenting themselves concurrently. In fact, I see business opportunities everywhere. I think it's just the way my mind works now. :brainy: I think I've made the decision to continue to move forward with the nonprofit. Although the other opportunities seem to have incredible potential, I believe my heart is in the nonprofit so, as cliche as it may sound, I'm gonna follow my heart. :yahoo: I've been blessed to own and operate businesses over the past 20 years and just feel the need to give back. I've always been philanthropic so the idea of doing good for a living blows me away. I'm already moving in that direction anyway. I'm just committing myself to going bigger, doing more and giving more.

Checking in but mostly rambling, huh? :giggle:

Please add me to the challenge. I have conciously been on this path for a few years now and have recently begun to see a slowing down of sorts. This challenge will keep me motivated and encouraged to stay in the vibration. My visions for this challenge are: 1.) Become completely open and receptive to my highest good, 2.) Meditate and pray daily :meditate: 3.) develope and maintain a consistent yoga and workout plan (lose and keep off 20lbs) 4.) Allow the genius within me to be released :brainy:(I am an attorney and am ready to take my career to a higher level as a consultant on an international level); 5.) financial freedom- earn $15,000/month consistently 6.) dream home(5 bedrooms each with its own bath, 2 half baths, 2 bedroom guesthouse, porte-cache, loggia with outdoor living/kitchen, swimming pool and manicured yard with basketball area, media room, workout room, library and meditation retreat----can you tell I can already see/feel this?) 7.) waist length hair.

Also...: 1.) pay off student loans within the next year 2.) pay off kids' tuition by October 1, 2011. 3.) Have a solid plan for career by October 1, 2011.

Now these are pretty large for me but through God ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE, and I won't stop believing!!! I receive these things or something better Right Now! Under Grace and In a Perfect Way! And so it is...AMEN.:clap2:

Hello, Divas! I've decided to redo my vision board and had so much fun doing so (that's the creative side of me having a ball). My avatar is the picture that I'm using as I'm working on the growth and health of my hair. I do know that it's that long. I don't know if it's that full because I haven't seen my hair out since June. I have no reason to believe that it's not tho so, I'm excited about that.

The nonprofit has regained momentum with new Board Members bringing fresh and exciting ideas for growth and activities so, I'm VERY excited about that. I think the "helpful and influential people" that I have on my vb helped to manifest that.

My physical goals are falling into place easily, even with my laziness and slacking up. I'm thrilled to find that my waist has gone from 31" to 27.5". My goal is 26". I'm tallish (5'7") so, I don't want to go too thin because my height will make thin look skinny. Not at all what I'm looking for. I'm building up certain areas and looking very hourglass-ish, if I must say so myself. :giggle:

Travel is on my board and hubby and I were just given a free 8-day cruise with airfare! I'm VERY excited about that. Our 15th anniversary is coming up so, we're planning that trip to celebrate.

There are some other awesome things manifesting that I choose not to share in an open forum.

Now, if I can get some help in video production and editing, that would be awesome. My skills are lacking but I know that help and instruction will come my way. Looking forward to it!

How're things going with you ladies? Are you watching where you're focusing your thoughts? What's happening?

Keeping all in prayer,

~NJoy

Happy to see that everyone is staying on point. It is indeed a workout to keep the mind focused and on track. I've been expanding my consciousness in ways I'd never imagined and am enjoying the ride.

I signed up for Oprah's Life Class months ago and didn't know there was a vision board component. Soooooo, yesterday I did my vision board online through my account with her website. I must say it is different doing a vision board with technology vs. textiles which I'm use to. But hey, these days I'm totally going with the flow because it just feels so darn good.

I can just "feel" my life is getting better and better every day in every way when stay in the kingdom and play all day. Staying in the kingdom is no small endeavor, but the rewards are so worth it. When I get the sensation that I'm not at play, I jump back into the kingdom. Sometimes I get so excited I have to make sure I'm still walking on solid ground. I caught myself on the way to a meeting this morning yelling at the top of my voice, "how sweet it is!!!" Thinking to myself, "what must people think?" But I didn't care because I was so happy, I thought I'd explode. Ironically, didn't care if I did. It would have been a fantastic explosion of joy and happiness;-)

Ladies: Stay in the waves of love that surround you and hold on to them gently, but tightly, if you feel like they are slipping away. "Life is a Journey, not a Destination." Anonymous | Enjoy the Ride!!!

Hello Divas

I have'nt been tuned in lately missed you all's inspiration and encouragement... Since I have been away so many things have taken place. I just want to say that romans 8:28 "and we know that all thing work together for the good of those who love the lord and are called according to his purpose" has been a scripture that I quote all the time and even share it with others when weary, but I must say that at this point in my life when I look back over it all. My God's word does not come back void!!! Once a believer of this scripture, I am now a KNOWER! that no matter what it looks like even if it looks bad its all working for your good always!!! there has never been a time that the lord has forsaken me... I am usually not the one that lays out all the details, I always feel like its embarrassing or too personal & that no one needs to know my business... But how will people see the goodness of the lord if I leave out all of the trials. I am just gonna share a breif description of whats been going on for the last 5 months... I had been living in a town home(renting) for 6 years and the property sold to a new owner, a few weeks after the new owner takes possesion a severe plumbing issue happend that resulted in myself and family staying at a hotel, the new owner probably upset with the expense did everything in her power to get me out and have me on the street, I kept questioning how can people intenionally do things that will be of harm to another human being. while asking these questions I could not get an answer of understanding all I could think of was I am comfortable, had not been prepared to just pack up and go all of a sudden after 6 years. Lord what is this all about WHY now was my thought... I had started a business that I had just launched a website for and things were starting to look up... my thoughts " the devil is over here trying to mess me up" I could not see the light at the end of the tunnel when I was ordered to be out because the new owner and I had not signed a lease. Result: Homeless with children!!:drama: after about two weeks of basically living out of my car. I am happy to say that he showed up and he showed out I have moved into a bigger and better town home that I am purchasing!!!:clap2: no other human being has control over my dwelling now but me and the heavenly father!!! I am soo soo sooo sooo GRATEFUL!!! and I wanted to share the goodness of the lord and how that word was manifested ALL not some but ALL things are working together for your good know that!! I would also like to share my business with you all because I sometimes feel reluctant to do that but god did not give us the spirit of fear so I am being obedient to the will of god... Please check it out and let me know what you guys think... website: shopdivinedesigns.com blog: divinedesignsinspiredbydiva.blogspot.com facebook: divinedesigns like the page if you do.... Once again just wanted to give him the glory and it's not always the devil the lord is working to manifest in your life the things that you desire in your heart just surrender and trust him!!

Njoy I know u really want this house but please don`t pay above the appraised value. I did that & have lived in regret about it ever since. Not many people would be willing to do this now in a buyer`s market so if the house sits unoccupied much longer the seller will renegotiate because he`s losing money anyway. Try to hold out a little while longer & things may work out better than u think. You don`t want to go into your new house feeling as tho u were taken advantage of, believe me I know the feeling. When I bought my house in 2005 I paid $16,500 out of pocket over the appraised value, within the next 2 years the housing market crashed & my house value plummeted leaving me upside down on my home loan. Hold out a little while longer, if it`s meant to be things will work out in your favor.

Thanks for the feedback. I know you're right. I feel it in my spirit. And I know I'd definitely feel regret over paying too much in a Buyer's Market. We've pretty much decided to back away and see what happens. I doubt anyone will be willing, or able, to pay SO much over today's market value. I can only imagine the Seller will have to hold it until the market returns...which will be a good long time from now. And yeah, who knows. Maybe they'll want to negotiate or be willing to consider a Short Sale. In any case, I'm sort of taking it that something better is in the works ~ whether it's a better deal on this one or a better house elsewhere. Your post is confirmation for me. I'm trying to release all emotional attachment to the house and be open to whatever the actual blessing is. I know that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that I can ask or think so, I'm ok with it. Meantime, I have so many other things keeping me preoccupied, I nearly forgot about it until reading your post. Thanks for speaking up and sharing your thoughts. I really appreciate it. :thumb:

Well, I got my MCAT score back and it is no where near a 39T. In fact, I can't apply this season because I have to retake the MCAT. I don't think there is anywhere I could get in with my numbers. I just don't know what to do. I still have not got a job where I can adequately support myself and now this.

It's easy to fall into a funk when we get disappointed. This is not the end of the world nor is it the end of the road. If nothing more, at least you've been exposed to the test, know what types of questions are asked, what to expect on testing day, etc. Today, you're better prepared to take the test already. Stay focused and positive about the end result. You'll do it. [I]Maybe[I] not this season but continue to look forward to it and get excited about it. The sure way to fail is to give up. But we know you're not gonna do that so, take this hug :bighug: and keep moving forward, thankful for the experience that you just had. Maybe the timing is off. Maybe there's something coming that you need to experience first or that may have been a distraction. Whatever. Believe that everything is unfolding perfectly and keep moving forward.

As for the job, you don't have one. Get one. Match yourself with good potentials, expect to get it and apply. Whatever you do, don't allow disappointment to sidetrack you. If you can't get yourself motivated right now, find something else that you can feel grateful for and or, focus on motivating someone else. Once you start feeling good about something else, it's an easier transition to seeing things going better for you.

There's a daily gratitude thread. Start there. Find some thing for which you are grateful today. Change your focus to lift your mood (or vibration).

All is well. We'll look back on this later and you'll be able to tell the whole story, complete with happy ending. Looking forward to hearing it. :clap2:

Hey Lady! Thanks for coming out of lurkdom and showing your...face? Well, you know what I mean.

I've read The Science of Getting Rich years ago. Much of what's out there sprang forth from this great teaching. Millionaire Mind and Think and Grow Rich are also great resources.

I love your attitude and comment but, maybe the challenge is staying in "Love, Gratitude & fearless faith". Hopefully, we encourage each other as we manifest the life of our dreams.

I know that there are many others that are lurking and manifesting right along with us. But it's always a pleasure to have someone step up and officially join with us. That said, adding you to the list. :clap2:

Well it seems more travel is coming our way. Hubby and I were talking this morning and he told me about an opportunity presenting itself that will allow our family to travel to Singapore. I have been in the clouds all day thinking about what an incredible family trip this will be. Wow! That trip is a perk for hubby accepting a contract to manage a project in Singapore. That means a nice financial increase too. I'm really loving this. :clap2:

Let me get to the point.....this is only a test. You will become what you have your heart set on if you really, truly want it. Do not focus on what is behind. Regroup and formulate a new plan. Time is of the essence. Every minute you spend on sadness is a minute lost. Let this experience serve as a reminder that God gave us prayer to be used as a tool. Sharpen that tool with time spent with Thee and you will gain strength, insight and renewed determination.

As for the money situation.....you are smart! Use the tools you have to bless others. Tutor, encourage another sister who may be struggling in another area but use that as seed from which you will eat later in your life.

Take a good look at your budget. Trim it to the bone and find ways to stretch what you have. You will find you have more than you think.

You will live the life of your dreams as long as you stay on the path that leads to greatness.

Are you ladies staying focused? I've been so busy creating the home of my dreams. Ok, so we let go of the other house. The Seller can't afford to sell at or near market price and has to just hang on to it til the market turns around...like everyone else. That actually made me feel better. The thought of overpaying in today's market was unsettling. But guess what's been going on aroun here? Major home renovations has my home feeling brand new. I now have hardwood floor, new furniture, lightscaping out front, a new porch and deck and am having the kitchen and bathrooms redone. So much in such a short period. It feels wonderful around here!!! Funds and fresh ideas continue to rain down into our life. Hubby and I are planning to celebrate our 15th anniversary at the end of this month, we're hosting Thanksgiving for both families and some friends, Christmas is coming and I'm already planning Christmas parties for the grown ups and the kids and we're working on the final details for our upcoming family vacation during Spring break.

Life is good and God is great! Just thought I'd share my update.

Remember that feeling and practice getting there so that whenever you feel discouraged, you can recall the end result to keep you moving forward in faith. It takes practice and prayer to help get you there through the feeling of hopelessness. But you can do it!

You shall live and not die. You can make it and God will help you through it all. Feel free to PM me if you want to talk. Meantime, I'm praying for you, Girl. Thank you. I tried to send a PM, but I received a message that your inbox was full. I can send it again when you have some inbox space.

11-11-11! I don't know if that has any real significance but, it sounds like a fresh start to me. Or at least a reminder to let go of the past and move forward with fresh expectations. Whatever's holding you back, release it. It's not worth holding on to. Expect something amazing to happen today, this week, this month and this upcoming new year. And dont' forget to be thankful for all that you have now. Good morning!

I am still mentally focusing on my dreams of healthy flowing hair, abundance of wealth (multimillionaire) and the ability to inspire others to greatness. My dreams will come true. Inspiring others is my passion!

To all my sisters in the daily march towards greatness, keep it moving and you will live the life of your dreams! We can do this!

Well it's been a whirlwind around here and I haven't posted in this section in a minute. Just to update, my house has become the house of my dreams. New hardwood flooring, kitchen and baths entirely redone, new furnishings. I feel like I'm in a brand new home and it feels great!

This past Thanksgiving went well. We had a house full! 36 people ate with us and the renovations on the house was done in time for Thanksgiving to feel the way that I've been imagining for the past year.

I cannot stress how wonderful it feels around here. I'm now working from my Bliss list (a list of things that I love and make me feel great) and incorporating more of those things into my life and identifying and removing the things that cause me distress. Some small additions are things like keeping fresh flowers in the house, gleaming harwood flooring, playing music in the house instead of the tv, dancing around the house more, keeping a bowl of fresh fruit in the kitchen, fragrant candles... Ah, I could go on. Some of these things are so small and simple but have such a wonderul impact on the quality of my life and how I feel.

And finally, I'll be celebrating 15 years of marriage to my wonderful and loving husband who adores me at least as much today as when we first met. I am blessed to be sharing this life with him and raising our 5 children. God is good!

You really are living the blessed life! I love to see others happy because I know what joy feels like. I am comfortable in my skin after many years of searching for inner peace and happiness.

Fresh flowers and candles and fruit bowls and clean floors are things that I enjoy too. Are we sisters:giggle:

Thank you so much for a forum to share my bliss.

Blessings to you and all my sisters in the walk that reveals the best us.

Good morning, Divas.

Today, I've spent time in prayer, giving thanks for all that I have and the ability to call those things that be not as tho they were.

I had an interesting revelation today. As you know, I absolutely believe there is positive benefit to visualizing. It's not something that has to be done for long durations of time or as a regular ritual either, per se. It's more of an assured belief of having what you visualize, feeling the joy and then giving thanks.

Many of you know that I partially attribute my growth from last year to visualizing. Each month, I'd update a length check pic about an inch and I'd see that come to pass. But at the end of the year, it floored me to find that my visualized year end pic looked very similar to my actual year end pic. Check out this post that I made in another forum:

Ok, y'all remember this post?

So I mentioned using my vision board for my hair goals. I also mentioned that I was confessing wl from the beginning of the year when it sounded silly. I have to say that I was looking at my vision board last night and realized something. For visualizing my growth I print out a rearfacing pic of myself and use a marker to extend the length of my hair (I'm SO low tech when it comes to image editing software. I just kept it old skool). My goal for the year was pasted to my vision board and I'd attatch the next goal pic on top of it with a clip. So, for instance, in September, I attached my expectations for the end of the month (maybe this makes sense if you find the post where I broke down how I post smaller milestone goal pics that my mind could easily accept).

Anywho, in December, I had up my goal pic for the end of January. Last night I realized that I've been so preoccupied with family issues that I hadn't updated my pic or checked my length. I took the pic down and saw my year end goal pic from last year. The pic was just grazing wl and it hit me that it looks EXACTLY like my actual year end pic. I mean in every way! Where the "v" starts and ends. EXACTLY!!!

That was the end of December and we're in Feb now so, I know that it's even longer than that. I'm updating my goal pic but wanted to share. Even though I'm expecting it, I'm still in awe of the exactness of my manifestations.

ETA: Wanted to show my 2 pics side-by-side:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v377/tonia1c/yearendvisualized.jpg

.

I just had a revelation and had to run over and share.

I haven't been visualizing anything hair-related this year...intentionally. This year was going to be about getting in shape, living in a beautiful home, my dad's health improving, surrounding myself with likeminded people and building a charitable organization. Since I was so close to my goal, the only thing that I wanted hair-related was gorgeous thickness.

That said, please look at my avi pic. That is one of my fave protective styles. It's a wig (can't remember the name offhand but, I've posted the name a few times in a couple wigs thread here). I love the thickness and general LARGENESS.

Fast forward to me trying to wear my hair out for my anniversary last week. Check out this pic and compare to my avi pic:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v377/tonia1c/2011-11-30161251-1.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v377/tonia1c/2011-10-15210907.jpg

I complained about feeling like Mufasa but, when I went to put the wig on today, it occurred to me that I'm Mufasa in that wig. Ok, I curled my hair under and didn't do all the added curls but, my hair is layered and could curl like that with the bulk landing right where the bulk is landing there. I stretched the length and it's the same length as my hair. If I had styling skills, I can get that same look for you year end pic and it would be exactly what I want!

Then it occurred to me that I see that pic several times daily in my avi and as my FB profile pic. I was visualizing and didn't even realize it.

That said, um... I suggest everyone gets some pics made with your goal length and keep it in front of you. Whether I intended to visualize or not, I got exactly what I saw for myself.

Light-bulb!!!

Njoy, that makes so much sense. Seeing it so much a part of manifesting! I will use that as a major part of my technique to have my dream become a reality. No matter how much I want it, if I do not see me with it beforehand, it will not happen.

Oh it's nothing fancy I just put a green tea bag & a mint tea bag in the kettle, sprinkle some cinnamon (about a teaspoon but depends on how much cinnamon I want to taste) and boil until it whistles

I usually add fresh ginger for the health benefits but I can't have ginger & cinnamon together, makes my throat burn lol My next batch will def be mint ginger tho!

Just dropping in to give a quick update on my manifesting. I decided that the week before my birthday on Dec. 14th would be my last week at my old job. I did not have another job in place, but I was leaving anyway because I could not stand the emotional and physical pain associated with working there. I was walking by faith and not sight. Well, during my last week I interviewed and was hired for a full-time position. It is temporary with the opportunity to be permanent. I am so thankful for this new opportunity financially. Although, I really desire to be permanently working full-time or part-time at a hospital, I know that this position is a stepping stone for me. Next, I will seek to move into my own place. 2012 will definitely be a chapter of new beginnings for me, and I can't wait to start writing it.

So, here we are at the end of the year. I know that I'm thankful for all that's been manifested over this past year.

As I sit here preparing to work on my 2012 vision board and pondering what it is that I'd like to come to fruition, I'm reminded how grateful I am for the support and friends that have come along side. I pray for you all and shall never cease giving thanks for you. I hope that you've been blessed with all of your heart's desires and pray that 2012 will be even more fruitful.

That said, how did you do sticking to this challenge? I know that you've manifested those things that you've been focusing on~ good and bad. But the goal was to find time to focus your thoughts on the good outcome that you desire for yourself.

If you haven't been able to focus on those things, then perhaps checking in daily would've made more of a difference by adding accountability. No worries! It's never too late to begin.

I'm thinking about blogging this year's visualization activities with tips that I've found to be helpful. I will continue to post in the challenge to give and receive motivation but, I encourge you to also set up your MDS blog to track your thoughts, experiences and tips. By doing so, you'll get in the habit of focusing on your goals and taking the steering wheel in your life. Don't worry. Your co-pilot is always with you, finding the best ways to bring you the desires of your heart.

Please let us know that you've set up your blog so that we can follow, encourage and be encouraged by you. If you haven't already set up your blog, there's a link at the top of the page that will take you to the Blog section. When you set it up, you can choose or create a category so that all related blog posts are easily found.

I'm getting back to creating my vision for 2012. I wish you a Happy and Prosperous New Year! Can't wait to hear about it!

Wow. Just reflecting on all that have manifested, I am truly humbled. I am STILL amazed, even though I'm expecting my desires to come to fruition.

After taking my last length check pics, I was surprised at how chunky I look. I was purposely taking maca to gain weight to thicken up my legs so that I could shape them up. Um, the maca just blended in with the handful of supplements that I take for other things (particularly antioxidants and heart-healthy supplements). So, I continued to gain weight, even beyond the weight that I wanted to put on. And truly, I knew that I was still gaining but felt like it must've been going to the right places because I didn't see myself getting thicker...until the length check pics from behind. :giggle:

In any case, I've been gathering pics for my 2012 vision board and have pics of bodies that I glued my face to. Today, I noticed that I've lost an inch on my waist and 6 lbs. That's in just under a week. Now, I know weight can fluctuate from day to day about 4 lbs either way but, I believe my body is already working to conform to the images that I've chosen for myself. I. feel. unstoppable.

That is all.

Haha!! I'm no expert, by any means. But, I found that you can merge pics at photobucket. When you click to edit a pic, there will be an option to add more photos from album(s). The two other tabs that I used are "layers" and "geek". The "layers" tab will allow you to move the pics around and layer them, change the opacity and move pics from to the forefront or behind. You'll get the idea when you play around there. The "geek" tab has a few goodies. There are instructions for each that sort of walk you through. I thought "smart scissors" is easier than "smart cut out" for tracing and cutting images. "smart color" allows you to color parts of an image.

Anyway, once you cut the pieces that you want to work with, go back to "layers" and place them the way you want. You can group it together to temporarily paste or merge to permanently make it one image.

It's not that tricky. Play around with it. The possibilties it has opened is tremendous for my visualizing. I can insert my pic into various backgrounds, put my face on beautiful bodies, etc. Give it a try. You can do it! :thumb:

I'm wondering how everyone's doing with manifesting? I have something to share.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

One of the desires that I have for this year is to get out and njoy more plays, musicals and concerts. I LOVE getting dressed up and going out with hubby to these types of events. I didn't really know how to put that on my vb so, I did a picture of a stage with curtains drawn and the word "fabulous" written where the performers would be. I casually focus on it from time to time. I was talking to a friend a few days ago saying that I wish I had the opportunity to see Michael Jackson in concert. It led to us making a bucket list of performers that we really wanted to see. Prince and Diana Ross are the two that I named and the last time I checked, neither were going to be anywhere that I would visit.

Anywho, I was working on finding music for a video that I'm working on and thought Diana Ross's "I'm Coming Out" would be appropriate. I pulled up the video on YT and saw in a side link that Diana is going to be in Atlanta in March. Tickets just went on sale on the 13th.

I ran it past hubby, thinking his response would have something to do with budgeting (I call that the Great Stall Tactic) but, to make a long story short, I'm going to see Diana Ross at the "Fabulous" Fox Theater on March 1, 2012. I. am. OVER. the moon :yay:

Another one of my goals is to slim down and have a banging body. On my vision board, I added my face to an old Janet Jackson body pic. I LOVE seeing that pic and I gotta tell you, my eating habits have gotten so much better. I no longer eat and snack on junk food because I can't image having that body and eating that junk. I'm suddenly preferring healthier foods. I mean, I can feel a change within that says my body is too good for bad eating. I see myself slimming down and am totally excited about meeting my goal this year. :yay:

I made a vision board on my computer and try to glance at it at least 2-3 times a day. One of my manifestations recently came true! I wanted to visit my family in another state, knowing that we wouldn't be able to afford it anytime soon, however I put it on the board. My parents recently called me out the blue and bought us tickets! Even though it was only for 5 days, it was so nice being able to visit with my family who I hadn't seen in over 2 years! It really works! I will be updating my board regularly and envisioning my goals so that they can all become a reality.

Congratulations Njoy! I love to hear updates because it keeps me so inspired. Have you thought something wasn't working, but it actually was? What I mean is that one thing that I put on my board was "date night weekly". Now mind you we have no one to watch the toddlers, but in my mind I thought of date night as a night off of cooking for me, eating out, being able to spend time with Hubby. I just realized that's exactly what we've been doing for the past month! He has been coming home every Friday/Sat. night with dinner from a restaurant after the children are in bed! Last week he asked to take us out, but I didn't want to go since we weren't ready. I think it's so important to imagine your goals, because it truly helps.

Absolutely! That definitely sounds like "date night" for you and hubby. That's how we started our weekly date night. I simply wanted some together time which started off as just a movie, then dinner and a movie, then different fancy restaurants and now weekend getaways. I just kept imagining and expecting more and the resources always show up to allow us to keep our weekly time together. Isn't it great?!

Thanks for posting. Sharing does motivate and inspire. You're awesome! :great:

I had one of the biggest blessings in my life happen last week so, I thought. I got a call to do a group interview at a hospital very close to where I live for an unit secretary position. I aced the interview. Everything went right, I was way early and was the best out of the group. I even took the right turn going home and ended up getting home quickly.

Now, today was supposed to be my 2n interview this time with the dept. I would be in, which was Surgery. However, everything went wrong today and I didn't even interview. I had been feeling off about today since Monday. I just never felt really excited and ambitious about this interview like I did the first. I think this is largely because they didn't call me like they said they would, I had to call to find out. Therefore, it made me believe that I was probably just added to the list of interviewees instead of actually being the top choice or something. Anyway, long story short I was late(I did call beforehand) and didn't get a chance to interview, and they are making a decision today.

HR manager said she would call me Monday if they didn't select someone they interviewed today, but we all know the chances of that happening is zero. I lost this position, and I don't even know why God put me through this. I wanted this position badly, so why didn't everything go right for me today or least why didn't I behave like I did for the first interview? I need my own place. I want my current job to fire me, so I can at least get unemployment while I look for another job. I can't afford to drive 40+ miles a day for a $10/hr job. My car is falling apart and is embarrassing to drive with how loud it is. I just don't want to do anything anymore. I either self-sabatoge or someone else screws something up for me. I'm tired. I would love to be in medical school instead of fighting for a BS paying job right now, but I don't have the focus or concentration needed to study to retake the MCAT. I need medication to help me because I am lost. I don't want to continue to live like this I am to old too be living like this. I want so much more out of life, but I feel I won't get anything out of it..

We have all been in this situation before. However, we have to be the change that we want to see ourselves in. First, cheer up. Whether or not you get this position, remember that you still have one now. Although it may be far, be content in knowing that you do have something that is helping with the bills. Continue going to work with a smile on your face, and spend time pursuing other options.

First, start with a vision board if you don't have one already. Then, look at courses or study guides online to help you study for the MCAT. Look online and see if there are any study groups/meet ups of others who want to take it as well. Look at other positions that you would like to be in. One trick that I have used is emailing people in the company/organization as well as submitting the general resume. Most companies have the email addresses online. This gives you direct access to that person, and is a more personal approach. If they are in need of someone, they may contact you first. Also, look at other opportunities that may not be in your specific field. What else do you like to do? It may not be career-related, but at least you will be happier. After I graduated from college with a BS in Business, I worked @ Target. I was not ashamed either, because it supported me at the time.

Be around positive people, and spend time working on your goals. If you have time to watch tv, you have time to study. You will get there be faithful! Good luck!

I know how you feel I've been there but keep the faith! Visualize where you want to be, I too had the 10.00 job, I still drive a van thats loud and needs work and secondly isn't ever mine meaning I have no vehicle. And I lost my house in October...currently living with my sister, my hair has finally stop falling out but now I'm feeling like I'm starting all over again

I was turned down for more jobs that I care to remember but in February I got a call for a position that I had applied for in November just when I had decided to get another part time position. Well I had a phone interview which didn't go as well as It could BUT GOD.....the man put me in for a face to face interview....WELL BUT GOD again I go in for the interview and guess who I interview with THE manager of the whole claims department not a supervisor but the head man! I felt I did excellent the next day I got offered the position! And funny thing is for the last 10 months I had been actively seeking a position and was being turned down left and right the position I recieved pays exactly what I needed. And I know only by the grace of GOD I finally got a postion I deserved...

Now I move on to the other aspects I'm currently looking for a place I believe and visualize me having this place by JUNE and a car too!

I also got engaged in February funny thing about that I was telling my godmother I didn't know if I should even be thinking about marriage seeing I wasn't where I wanted to be....she told me if that man loves you and inspire of everything your going through wants to be your husband you let him!!!!

I'm praying and visualizing things over his life as well.....I'm excited on where my life is headed because I had to realize it could have been worse, I was taking something outside to the garbage and I heard his voice ...saying this is where you could have been.....and it made me thankful because it's people that actually live in garbage cans!! Enough rambling

Keep. Visualizing and pressing on!!

I've been praying for and visualizing a car. Mine had been giving me so many problems but I didn't have the money to do anything about it. My auntie is moving and wanted to sell one of her two cars. No way could I afford to buy it from her either. Anyway, her job moved her transfer date up so she had to move quickly. I helped her pack all her things and agreed to take care of her car until it sells. This is good because I get to drive it until it sells. I really felt like this was a blessing. But last night, she called me up and said to take the car off the market. She wanted to bless me with it. OMG! I couldn't believe it. It's a 2010 Accord. No payments and in perfect condition. This is more than I expected. I thought the blessing was in being able to use it. But now it's mine! Yay!!!

Add me to the challenge!

I am manifesting:

1. Waist-length hair.
2. A smaller waist line.
3. Pushing my novel to be a best-seller.
4. Financial prosperity.
5. Abundance in all other areas in life.

I actually have a list of over 50 things I would like to manifest along with a vision board, but this is what I'm really working toward right now.

One of the things on my VB is a pic of a maid making up a bed. I was talking to hubby a couple nights ago and commenting that one of my least favorite things to do EVER is cleaning toilets. He asked if I wanted to hire a maid to do the cleaning. That caught me totally offguard because I'm a SAHM/WAHM. Um, yeah! Right on time.

Well, I've been praying for and expecting an increase in my finances. Yesterday I got a promotion, a raise and a bonus. I didn't even know that I was up for the position but apparently, a sudden vacancy opened the right door for me. I'm very happy because I can use the bonus for a downpayment on my house. I've been wanting to own my own home for awhile now. I've been renting the house that I'm in now. My landlord mentioned to me a month or so ago that she's been considering putting the house on the market because she wants to move closer to her children in Florida. She just wanted to give me heads up. I told her I'd be willing to buy it but I didn't have a downpayment. I wanted to negotiate rent credit towards the downpayment but she said that she needs the money in hand to help with her moving expenses. I left it alone. But now with this bonus, I should have enough with conventional financing. :yay: God is so good to me.

I know I haven't been posting often in this challenge but I have been practicing positive intention, prayer and keeping the vision in front of me. I'll be posting more often as I allow more to manifest in my life.

Congratulations! That's great news! Also if you haven't already google first time homebuying programs in your state in order to help with your downpayment. We used one and it helped tremendously! God is great!!!

Ok, I'm in the 2nd half of this year so, I'm gonna up my visualizations for the goal length of my hair. I think I'm actually at my goal length but, I'm still transitioning so, I can't really say that I'm done yet. But, to help me visualize, I've decided to start wearing a wig that is my goal look. Again, my hair is already this length but not in this condition. My hemline will need to be cut at the end of the year to get my hair to look like this.

Also, whenever I wear my hair out, I feel weird and awkward because I'm not used to it (since I'm mostly PS'g anyway). So, wearing this wig gives me the look and feel that I need to get used to I'm still in denial that my hair is even this length (actually a bit longer) because I assume my hemline is out of order. Wow! I can't wait until the end of the year to get my hair done and my hemline cut nicely. I know it's gonna look fabulous. This wig already shows me so.

Tip:

"I am" and "I have". All affirmations should be in the present tense. "will" or "am going to" is in the future tense. The future is never today. It will always remain perpetually in the future. If you want things to change, see and speak from a position of "now".

May I suggest a few?

~ Doors of opportunity fly open for me.
~ I am well prepared and succeed in my career choice.
~ I prosper in everything that I do.
~ New and exciting career opportunities present themselves to me continuously.
~I have chosen a career that fullfills me. I love what I do.
~My employer and coworkers appreciate and value my skills and are a joy to work with.
~I love my job and promotions come easily.
~I am well-paid and my income continues to increase.
~I happily go to work and I love what I do.

Try those on for size. See how they feel. Most importantly, only say positive things. And when negative thoughts of the economy or other people's stuggles to find work come up, say to yourself, "That may be true for some but opportunities abound and are drawn my way. I always get the job. My life is blessed"

Hope that helps.

The things that continue to show up in my life has me floored. As the year draws to a close, I've been looking over the things that I've been seeking in 2012 and considering what I'd like in my life in 2013. At first, I couldn't think of anything new that I'd like to add. But then I decided to challenge myself to thing bigger than I ever have. Some of the things, my mind refused to consider but, I'm challenging myself to fully walk the walk. Sooooooo... I'm planning to have my vision for 2013 clarified before the end of the year. I'm browsing random photographs to get ideas for the greatness anticipated in my life. Anyone else working on a 2013 vision? :reddancer:

Well, here we are in 2013. For those who thought the world was going to end on December 21, 2012, I'm happy to say, Welcome back! :reddancer:

No one knows the hour and that's all I'm gonna say about that.

Well, I was able to create my vision board for 2013. Some things I'm repeating. Like hair growth. Now that I'm natural, I'm growing my hair back to Hip Length. I've started a Visualizing You Way to Longer, Healthier Hair Challenge (http://mydivaspot.com/forums/showthread.php?529-Visualizing-Your-Way-to-Longer-Healthier-Hair-Challenge) if you're interested in joining and growing your hair. I've also gone back to my physical fitness image. I stopped focusing on that and unintentionally replaced that with my year-end pic from 2011. Suddenly, my getting smaller and in shape seemed to be going in the opposite direction and my 2012 year end body in my length check pic look very similar to the one in 2011. D'oh!

There are other things that I won't share at this time because sometimes you have to protect the vision in its infancy. The naysayers may wrestle it right away. (I'm reminded of Joseph and his brothers in the Bible. Joseph shared his dreams with his brothers and boy did they get jealous and planned to kill him, but sold him off instead.) Sometimes, when you plant a seed in fertile soil, nurture it and it begins to grow, you have to protect the young seedling from the elements so that it is able to grow strong, manifest fully and bear fruit. True story.

Anyhoo, my new board is up, I've begun preparing myself to receive, am speaking life over my visions and will share as they begin to come forth in my life. I'm VERY excited because I'm envisioning BIGGER than I ever have! :yahoo:

I hope you ladies are expecting BIG things in your life. God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all you can ask or think. So, whatever you're thinking, dare to desire the fullest version of your vision. Don't think small, as if that earns you some humility points. The bigger the vision, the more your faith extended, exercised and grows. This is what God wants for us. He is the Author and Perfector of our faith. There is no difference to the Creator between a small, used car and an expensive new car. The only real difference to us is the faith extended. Believing for five dollars is the same as believing for five million dollars, once you realize that the only difference is in your faith and what you believe you deserve. You are a creator in a limitless universe with power endowed by the Creator of the Universe. When you realize that, and that the extension of your faith (or believing) is what allows you to receive, then you will be able to manifest/create the life of your dreams....literally.

Um, whatcha waiting for? Get on it! Life is good and God is GREAT! :reddancer:
